First piece in my pole series. This was drawn while I was obsessed with the "teddy" hold. Inspired by the woman who taught me the move, Nadia Sharif.
Nadia is an incredibly strong and incredibly artistic pole dancer from Los Angeles, CA. I am proud to have taken classes from her. I am a proud pole dancer -- it's an empowering, sexy and feminine sport.

The birds are Lazuli Buntings which are native to the West Coast. So, west coast polers, REPRESENT! <3

My aim is to create a new series of pin-ups not only celebrating a woman's beauty, but also her physical strength and grace. Many pieces you'll see are inspired by women I've encountered on my pole dancing journey.
